Privacy Policy
Commercial Appliance Services · commercialapplianceservices.com · Effective date: October 13, 2026
This policy explains what information Commercial Appliance Services ("we", "us") collects when you visit commercialapplianceservices.com (the "Website"), call us, or send a service request, and what we do with it.
1. Information we collect
- Request form. Your name, phone number, email address (if you enter one), ZIP code, type of appliance, and the description of the problem you write.
- Page and ad details sent with the form. The address of the page you were on, the site that referred you, and advertising tags (such as the Google Click ID and utm campaign tags), so we can see which search or ad led to your request.
- Phone calls. When you call a number shown on the Website, our phone and call-tracking systems log details such as date, time, length, the number you called from, and which page or ad the call came from. What you tell us may be written into your service order.
- Browsing data. Through cookies and similar tools: pages viewed, clicks, scrolling, mouse and touch movement, device and browser type, approximate location based on your IP address, and the site that referred you.
Please do not enter sensitive information (such as payment card numbers, government ID numbers or passwords) in the request form.
2. Cookies, analytics and session recording
The Website uses:
- Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics to count visits and see how the Website is used.
- Microsoft Clarity, which records how visitors use a page (clicks, scrolling, mouse and touch movement) and can show that activity as a replay. We use it to find parts of the Website that are confusing or broken.
- Cloudflare, which helps deliver and protect the Website.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Google Analytics and explains how it uses data from sites like this one. Microsoft explains Clarity in its privacy statement. We do not currently change how the Website works in response to browser "Do Not Track" signals.
3. How we use information
- To contact you about your request, schedule your visit, carry out and follow up on the repair.
- To keep service and warranty records.
- To measure, secure and improve the Website and our advertising, and to prevent spam and abuse.
- To meet legal obligations.
The request form does not sign you up for any mailing list.
4. Calls and messages
By calling us or sending a request, you ask us to contact you about your repair. We may contact you by phone using the details you gave us. If you prefer another way, or want us to stop, tell us using the Contact section and we will update our records.
5. Who we share information with
We share information as needed to run the Website and provide our service, with:
- our team, and technicians and other contractors who schedule or carry out repairs;
- service providers: job and order management software, internal messaging tools, phone and call-tracking providers, hosting and security (Cloudflare), and analytics providers (Google, Microsoft), under their own terms and privacy policies;
- public authorities and advisers, when the law requires it or to protect rights and safety;
- a buyer or successor, if our business is sold or reorganized.
6. How long we keep information
We keep information as long as we need it for the purposes above, for example to complete your repair, honor a warranty, keep business and tax records, and resolve disputes. After that we delete it or remove identifying details where practical.
7. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect information, but no website or storage system is completely secure.
8. Your choices and rights
You can ask us to tell you what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Send the request using the Contact section. We may need to confirm it is you, and we may keep information that the law requires or allows us to keep, such as service and tax records. We will respond within the time the law requires. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as opting out of certain advertising uses of your data.
9. California residents
This section applies only if you are a California resident and California privacy law applies to us. It changes nothing for other visitors.
- What we collect: identifiers and contact details (name, phone, email, IP address, cookie identifiers); commercial information (your service request); internet and device activity; approximate location from your IP address; and anything else you tell us. These come from you, your browser or device, and our analytics and phone providers. We use and share them as described in Sections 3 and 5.
- Advertising and analytics tools. Tools such as Google's can collect cookie identifiers and browsing activity on the Website. Under California law, using such tools can count as "sharing" information for advertising. To limit this, you can block cookies or contact us to opt out.
- Your rights: to know, to delete, to correct, to opt out of sale or sharing, and not to be treated worse for using these rights. You can submit a request yourself or through an authorized agent. See also the California Attorney General's CCPA page.
10. Children
The Website is for adults who own or manage appliances. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
